Challenges are a game mode in Brink that reward you with weapons and other weapon related items when the challenge is completed.

Overview[]

Each challenge has 3 difficulties:

  • One Star
  • Two Star
  • Three star

Each One Star and Two Star challenges grant you additional attachments and weapons, while the Three Star challenges allow you to submit your score to world-wide leaderboards and get an Achievement. For all challenges, you will be able to use your character, so unlocking certain abilites (or doing easier challenges and unlocking more gear) can help to complete the higher level challenges, but all AI in the challenges are the same Rank as you and therefore have access to the same Abilities that you do, so when you can get new abilities the AI has them and this keeps it very challenging no matter what Rank you are. You can not choose which difficulty you would like to do, the first time you start a challenge it will be one star, after you beat that the next time you start it it will be two star, then any time after that it will be three star so you can keep trying for a better score on the leaderboards.

It is important to note that the enemies are significantly more deadly if your character is at a high level, even if you're only level 10, making two and three star challenges difficult to complete. Also, completing a challenge will unlock its rewards for all your characters, not just the character you did the challenge with. Completing the challenges immediately may help decrease the difficulty of the challenges.
