The Alpha shot is a feature of Brink that allows the player to lean out towards a side while aiming down the sights. By doing this, the player exposes as little of themselves as possible, but is still capable of accurately and precisely laying down fire on enemies.
However, this trick exposes the player's torso and head, two targets that receive more damage than all of the other body parts.
